About

The Fraser Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) opened in 2010 bringing together six fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons to provide specialized care in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves (musculoskeletal system).

Our Orthopaedic Surgeons are all sub-speciality fellowship trained in areas of Shoulder & Elbow, Hand & Wrist, Hip & Knee, Foot & Ankle and Sports Medicine to offer comprehensive coverage in all aspects of orthopaedic health.

Our surgeons use minimally invasive procedures whenever possible to reduce pain and speed recovery.

Fraser Orthopaedic Institute surgeons participate in multinational clinical trials and clinical research studies to further our understanding and treatment of musculoskeletal disease.

Our surgeons are Clinical Faculty members within the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia.
